The South Korean presidential election was held yesterday, and one TV network tracked the voting with a Game of Thrones-inspired approach.
As reported by Kotaku, Korean television network SSB turned all of the presidential candidates into what look like characters from HBO's aforementioned fantasy drama.
In addition to featuring an intro and theme music strikingly similar to Game of Thrones, the coverage, dubbed "Big Election Game: Searching for the Throne," features footage of the candidates' heads atop CG animated bodies. Check out this clip, courtesy of YouTube user FUN TASTIC Vedio, for a look at some of the footage.
The election results were tracked in a number of other unique ways as well, including one inspired by Pokemon Go.
Game of Thrones returns for its seventh season on July 16. While you patiently wait for the premiere, check out our detailed overview of everything we know about Season7 and 8.
