A Japanese promo leaflet for Star Wars: The Last Jedi has seemingly revealed a little more about the upcoming sequel's plot.
What follows could be considered light spoilers for those looking to know know nothing about The Last Jedi. Be warned!
Spotted by StarWarsNewsNet, the leaflet headline (as translated by SWNN user Niamor and independently verified by an IGN translator) reads: "The Most Shocking Truth in Star Wars History Will Soon be Revealed!"
Perhaps Luke will have turned to the Dark Side after all? Or is this Lord Snoke's identity? Or will we find out that Chewie was behind everything?
Primarily, the rest of the article sums up the events of The Force Awakens, but one line appears to confirm what the rest of the last film's lead cast will be up to while Rey spends time with Luke Skywalker:
"Kylo Ren's mother, the leader of the Resistance, Leia, Poe, Finn, and BB-8, will embark on a new mission!"
Perhaps they'll be chasing Kylo back to Snoke's home planet, or simply shoring up the Resistance for the final fight in Episode IX.
The leaflet also promises a "climax scene full of mystery" - a point that may (again) evoke comparisons to The Empire Strikes Back's more open-ended storyline.
We've learned a few little details from unusual sources recently - a Hot Wheels toy showed us Kylo Ren's new ship, and a Battlefront 2 pre-order bonus revealed Kylo and Rey's new costumes.
Star Wars: The Last Jedi will arrive in theaters on December 15.
