704Games has announced that a new entry in the NASCAR Heat series will launch later this year in North America.
Titled NASCAR Heat 2, the new racing title from developer Monster Games will be available on September 12 for PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC.
The title will build upon the foundation of last year's release, NASCAR Heat Evolution, complete with a more robust online multiplayer experience, as well as a deeper career mode, new drivers, track updates and more.
"This new game will have a very different look and an enhanced overall experience that reflects the insights of actual NASCAR drivers," 704Games CEO Paul Brooks said.
In partnership with Toyota, 704Games is once again holding a cover athlete competition, where, from now until May 19, you can vote right here on which Toyota drivers you'd like to see featured on the cover of NASCAR Heat 2. Fan voting will determine the finalists and then on May 20, whichever driver finishes stage 2 at the Monster Energy All-Star Race will be the cover star.
