Zelda: How to Complete the Mirro Shaz Shrine

The Mirro Shaz Shrine is one of the Shrines in the Central Hyrule Region of The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild.

Mirro Shaz Shrine is located in the Great Hyrule Forest region, northeast of Woodland Stable across from Pico Pond. You can get to it by following the road northwest from the Lanayru Wetlands.

This shrine is easy to navigate, but a bit difficult to conquer.

Jump down to the first room, where you'll find a ball, a treasure chest, and a switch. Open the chest and equip the Iron Sledgehammer you find inside.

Line up perfectly centered with the ball and get ready to hit it. You want it to go straight ahead. Use Stasis on it, then hit it with the Iron Sledgehammer exactly five times, no more, no less. The number of times you need to hit it will change based on the weapon you have equipped.

It should land into the hole ahead, opening up the path. If you miss, hit the switch to the left to try again with a new ball. In the next section, use Stasis on the block, and hit it five times with your Sledgehammer.

Use the newly angled ledge to get to the top, but don't go to the monk just yet if you want to get the last treasure chest.

There's a pathway to the left of the monk, follow it, then drop down. The shrine generously provides you with another Iron Sledgehammer. Take it.

This one is a little tricky, so consider saving before you start trying so if your Iron Sledgehammer breaks, you can restart fresh.

You need to line up center with the ball, use Stasis, hit it five times with the Iron Sledgehammer, then one time with a one-handed weapon, like a sword or boomerang. Yes, it needs 5.5 hits to land perfectly into the bowl ahead, and lining up perfectly and switching weapons within the allotted time of Stasis can take a few tries.

Once you've succeeded, the room to your left will open up, granting you a Giant Ancient Core.

Now head back upstairs and collect your Spirit Orb from the monk.
