Kingdom Hearts director and longtime Final Fantasy character designer Tetusya Nomura has offered his take on the Joker with a new figure.
Like Nomura's interpretations of Batman and Catwoman, his Joker redesign is striking, eccentric, and certainly a unique take on the DC villain. As part of Square Enix’s DC Universe Variant Play Arts Kai line, the figure will release sometime this fall. You can preorder the figure now on Amazon Japan.
Check out the gallery below for a detailed look at the figure:
The collectible figurine sports an exoskeleton-wheelchair accessory and seven interchangeable head options that include an ornate harlequin mask, a red hood and a regular Joker face.
It'll set you back 32,184 yen, which roughly translates to $290 USD/£223. For comparison, Nomura's Batman and Catwoman figures cost $250 USD/£160 and $150 USD/£115, respectively.
