Dwayne Johnson Confirms Superman Will Fight Black Adam

"One fine day… that's coming."

Dwayne Johnson has confirmed Superman will battle against Black Adam.

In an interview with Fandango, Johnson confirmed his long-awaited DCEU debut as Black Adam is "definitely going to happen." Johnson teased that when Black Adam does finally show up in a DCEU film, it's going to surprise fans.

"It’s an exciting time right now for everyone at DC because they are in a process now where they are building out [their DC universe] really nicely," Johnson said. "We have a really cool surprise for Black Adam that I can't reveal, in terms of where we will see Black Adam being introduced."

When asked about a potential the match-up between Black Adam and Henry Cavill's Superman, Johnson promised that "one fine day... that's coming. That's in the cards."

Shazam was recently split into two movies, with one focusing on Johnson's Black Adam. Johnson recently revealed he wants Armie Hammer to play Shazam. There's currently no official word on who will direct either project, but back in February, Lights Out filmmaker David F. Sandberg was reportedly in talks to helm Shazam.
