Divinity: Original Sin 2 Gets a Release Date

Divinity: Original Sin II will be coming out of early access and receiving a full release on September 14, 2017.

In its 37th update video on developer Larian Studios' YouTube page, we now finally have the full release date of the sequel to 2014's Divinity: Original Sin.

Original Sin II had a successful Kickstarter campaign back in 2015, when it hit all its stretch goals and raised $2 million. The game has been in Early Access on Steam since September 2016, and has been receiving regular updates since then.

Larian is "doubling down on deep roleplaying," and there will be a mode in the game with which you can create your own tabletop RPG campaigns.
