Peter "Combofiend" Rosas has parted ways with Capcom.
Rosas, who served as a producer on Street Fighter V and Marvel vs Capcom Infinite, announced his departure from the studio in a post on Capcom-Unity, saying: "I've been fortunate enough to work on the games that shaped my life, a definite dream come true, but now I feel it's time for the next generation to be able to do the same."
He went on to express his confidence in the future of Capcom, adding, "There's no doubt in my mind that the current generation has their own unique ideas that will push Capcom’s fighting games forward in terms of innovation and evolution."
Before working as a producer on MvC Infinite (read IGN's review) and Street Fighter V, Rosas worked at Capcom as a community manager. He's also a competitive Street Fighter player known by the pro fighting game community as "Combofiend." In his goodbye post, Rosas said he intends to "join you all once again as a member of the community and as a Capcom fan."
Additionally, Rosas helped train some of the IGN staff in our Street Fighter V Grudge Match video series.
