14 New PS4, PSVR Game Announcements by Sony


The Hong Kong Massacre, Erica, and many, many more titles on the horizon.

Sony has concluded its PlayStation Media Showcase at Paris Games Week, and there was no shortage of new games revealed for PlayStation 4 and PSVR. In addition to major game announcements like Sucker Punch's new title Ghost of Tsushima, a sequel to Spelunky, and Guacamelee! 2, there was a bevy of unique indie and VR game reveals for PlayStation 4 owners.

The Hong Kong Massacre

The Hong Kong Massacre is a stylish top-down action shooter that will be released for PlayStation 4 sometime in 2018. It's the first title from indie studio Vreski, a two-person development team from Sweden.

The Gardens Between

The Gardens Between, a narrative-driven puzzle game from developer The Voxel Agents, was announced for PlayStation 4. The title, which we got to check out earlier this year on PC, allows players to control the flow of time as they discover the secrets hidden in each garden island they explore.

Tennis World Tour

Breakpoint Studio's upcoming tennis sim, Tennis World Tour, was announced for release on PlayStation 4 in spring 2018. The game is designed to be a spiritual successor to Top Spin, and is being developed by talent behind the aforementioned tennis series.

A new PlayStation VR game called Megalith was announced for release in 2018. Developed by Destructive Games, which includes veteran talent from Insomniac Games, is a hero shooter where players control massive titans and become a god.

Bow to Blood

Bow to Blood, a new procedural VR experience from Tribetoy, has player captain flying futuristic pirate ships. The colorful PlayStation VR game will be released sometime in 2018.

Ultrawings

Ultrawings, a Pilotwings-inspired flight simulation VR game that previously launched on Oculus Rift and HTC Vive, was announced for PlayStation VR and will be released "soon" for the platform.

Sprint Vector

Likewise, Sprint Vector, which was already confirmed for release on Oculus Rift and HTC Vive, is coming to PlayStation VR. A release date for Survios' futuristic first-person running game has yet to be announced for the platform.

Dead Hungry

The fast food filled zombie game Dead Hungry is coming to PlayStation VR. Q-Games' ridiculous virtual reality title will be released for PSVR on October 31, just in time for Halloween.

Also launching tomorrow for PlayStation VR is Stifled, an unsettling horror game where players must make noises to illuminate the pitch black world around them. However, doing so puts you at risk of alerting enemy creatures that lurk in the dark.

League of War: VR Arena

A released date for League of War: VR Arena, the virtual reality tabletop war simulation game from MunkyFun, was announced for PlayStation VR. The game will be released on November 7 for the platform.

Invector, a vibrant rhythm game from Hello There, was announced for release on PlayStation 4.

Heavy Spectrum revealed its new game Oure, which launches today for PlayStation 4. The game puts players in the role of a child who, after finding themselves alone in a strange world, discovers they can transform into a dragon and soar through the clouds.

Erica, a new full-motion video title from Favourworks, was revealed for PlayStation 4. In the game, players will have to aid Erica in making various decisions. The game uses Sony's new PlayLink feature, which allows you to control select PS4 titles with your smartphone.

Blood & Truth

Finally, a new title from London Studio called Blood & Truth was revealed for PlayStation VR. The upcoming action game builds upon the foundation the studio created with The London Heist to create a more fleshed out and expansive experience.
