Summon Night 6: Lost Borders

Release Date: Tuesday, October 31, 2017

  • See it on Amazon for $47.99 with Prime (PS4 Amu Edition)

The sixth chapter in the mainline Summon Night saga takes everything that players loved about Summon Night 5 and makes it even bigger and better. Summon Night 6: Lost Borders weaves an emotional tale of friendship and discovery that begins in the sparsely populated "cocoon world" of Fillujah, where the three main characters (Raj, Amu and Ist) live in virtual isolation. Each has a single companion, a flying sidekick with an amazing special power, and they are all surprised when dozens of strangers begin to suddenly appear-- literally falling out of the clear, blue sky. Lost Borders can be played and enjoyed without any knowledge of the previous games in the series, but fans will recognize that the mysterious strangers are actually returning characters from all of the mainline Summon Night games.

The Dark Tower

Release Date: Tuesday, October 31, 2017

  • See it on Amazon for $19.99 (Blu-ray)

From our Review: While watching the film version of Stephen King’s The Dark Tower, I couldn’t help but dwell on the final line of the Gunslingers’ creed. “You do not kill with your gun. He who kills with his gun has forgotten the face of his father. You kill with your heart.” While this line is spoken several times by a pair of incredible lead actors, the movie doesn’t seem to truly understand it. This Dark Tower adaptation abandons the nuance and gravity of its source material and all too often lacks any trace of a beating heart.
