Following last week’s server outage, Ubisoft has detailed what they’ll be doing to make it up to players.
With an undisclosed number of players unable to access For Honor’s online mode between February 13 to February 26, Ubisoft is offering Champion Status to all to make up for the hiccup. The peace offering will be available from March 3 to March 5 on all platforms.
To claim Champion Status, all you need to do is log in on the above-mentioned dates. For those unfamiliar with what Champion Status is, Ubisoft explains it as so:
- More Salvage from dismantling Gear
- More end-match Loot
- +25% XP Boost
- 3 Exclusive Champion Emblems
- An Exclusive Champion Icon next to your name
- +10% XP Boost for all players on your team
- Champion Statuses stack (i.e.: if you bought the Season Pass, you will get 3 extra days)
As well as Champion Status, this coming weekend will also feature a special community order which grants double the amount of Steel they’d normally receive.
In our review, we said “For Honor has some dents in its shiny armor, such as the mediocre campaign, the frugal economy, and the snowballing victories in team modes,” before proclaiming “it’s hard to be mad too long when I consider that the melee combat system is second to none and a joy to learn.”
