Koei Tecmo has announced Nioh recently passed 1 million physical and digital sales worldwide.
This news comes via Japanese website Gamer.ne.jp (with translation from Siliconera). To celebrate, Koei Tecmo will be giving away the "Golden Nioh Armor" for all players in patch version 1.04 today.
Plus, the early-purchase campaign has been extended until March 1, which means that if you buy the game before that date you'll get the Crimson Master Armor, inspired by the legendary samurai warrior Yukimura Sanada.
Nioh released on PlayStation 4 earlier this month. It will be getting high difficulty missions next month, and player versus player combat is coming in April.
IGN gave Nioh a golden review, saying it's "an epic, unforgettable adventure carried by a fierce combat system that cleverly balances style and strategy."
