While the Han Solo standalone movie is currently shooting at Pinewood Studios in the UK, we’ll have to wait a little longer before we get any concrete details concerning the film's synopsis or characters. Hopefully Lucasfilm will drop some details at Star Wars Celebration 2017 this April in Orlando, Florida, but in the meantime we may have some idea of where the film could be going design-wise if Lucasfilm decides to recycle some existing concept artwork from classic Star Wars artists such as Ralph McQuarrie, Joe Johnston, and others.
The Force Awakens, Rogue One, and even the Rebels series have previously reused existing artwork, so it won’t be surprising if this happens again to maintain the aesthetic of the series. Let’s take a look at some of this art and what it could mean for the Han Solo Star Wars Story.
As we said, we'll likely start learning more Han Solo details at Star Wars Celebration in a couple of months -- or when set photos start leaking from location shoots! Keep it locked to IGN until then for all of your Star Wars needs.
