Gears of War 4 will be getting its first ever Horde variant playlist starting today, February 24 and ending on Monday, February 27.
Titled Feral Horde, the weekend playlist will "up the intensity of each wave, changing the composition of each wave to focus more on constant pressure and unrelenting assault," according to The Coalition. "Prepare to move, dodge and scrap your way to victory against new waves filled with hefty amounts of Explosive Trackers, Swarm Grenadiers, DR-1s, Dropshot Scions and more!"
Clocktower is the only map available in the playlist and the difficulty is set to hardcore.
Players participating in the Feral Horde event can earn up to three special Feral Swarm character skins by completing 50, 100, and 200 waves to earn the Tiger, Cheetah, and Snow Leopard skins, respectively. To earn the skins, players will also have to register on the official competition page.
A Feral Horde Pack will also be available for 400 Credits and includes two new Feral Weapon skin sets and "a greatly increased chance to earn Epic Horde Skills compared to standard Horde Booster Gear Packs."

In addition, players will earn double class XP in every version of Horde this weekend, including Public and Private play.
Earlier this month, Gears of War 4's February update brought two new maps, Guardian improvements, and more.
