Philip K. Dick continues to inspire people to create works of art on screen and on the canvas. The visionary writer has inspired popular films from Blade Runner to The Minority Report. Amazon's new 10-episode sci-fi anthology series, titled Philip K. Dick's Electric Dreams is based on a collection of his short stories.
In recognition of this new series and Dick himself, Sony Pictures Television has partnered with Gallery 1988 in commissioning 10 global artists to each create a piece of art inspired by an episode. Gallery 1988 is a Southern California based gallery that has worked on similar projects including Breaking Bad, Preacher, and Seinfeld.
Electric Dreams is currently available to stream on Amazon Prime. Be sure to check out our review of the first season right here and let us know which piece of art is your favorite.
David Griffin still watches DuckTales in his pajamas with a cereal bowl in hand. He's also the TV Editor for IGN. Say hi on Twitter.
