The Amazing Spider-Man #789 - $3.99
STL059817

By writer Dan Slott & artist Stuart Immonen | Marvel

Dan Slott wrote Amazing Spider-Man #600 and #700, and it appears that he's going to add #800 to his resume before too long. Slott's ASM reverts to its classic numbering as the series begins its Marvel Legacy status quo.

Peter Parker's days as a globetrotting businessman are over. His company is in shambles, and now the world despises Peter Parker as much as it used to hate Spider-Man. As if that weren't bad enough, Norman Osborn is currently plotting revenge and seeking mystical ways of reawakening the Goblin within. In short, the old Parker luck has struck with a vengeance, and our hero faces some pretty steep challenges as a new Marvel era begins.

God Complex #1 - $3.99
STL060642

By writers Paul Jenkins & Bryan Lie & artist Hendry Prasetya | Image

Image's latest new series offers an intriguing blend of old-world mythology and futuristic sci-fi. The series follows a detective named Seneca as he investigates the murders of three church officials in the high-tech city of Delphi. Paul Jenkins is a very dependable writer, and we're eager to see what artist Hendry Prasetya can do outside the Power Rangers franchise. If Blade Runner 2049 didn't satisfy your craving for cyberpunk detective noir, maybe this series can do the trick.

Hellboy in Hell: The Library Edition HC - $49.99
STL053065

By writer/artist Mike Mignola | Dark Horse

Dark Horse's Library Edition hardcovers are our preferred method of reading the Hellboy books. Nothing beats that oversized, lavish presentation. We're happy to see Dark Horse release one final volume collecting the entirety of Hellboy in Hell, the final chapter in the core Hellboy saga. This volume includes all ten issues of the series and plenty of bonus material for fans to pore over.

All-New Wolverine #25 - $3.99
STL059693

By writer Tom Taylor & artist Juan Cabal | Marvel

All-New Wolverine is also kicking off its Marvel Legacy status quo this week. And writer Tom Taylor is ringing in the occasion by pairing Laura with her "brother," Daken. This new arc promises to delve even deeper into Laura's troubled past even as it explores the dysfunctional relationship between these two Wolverine offspring. This issue also marks the series debut of artist Juan Cabal. Cabal impressed us a lot on the short-lived Elektra series, and we think e'll be a great fit for the series.

Justice League: The Darkseid War Omnibus HC - $75.00
STL050631

By Various | DC

"The Darkseid War" is both the climax to Geoff Johns' five-year-long run on Justice League and its high point. Johns and artist Jason Fabok crafted a truly epic confrontation between the League and Darkseid, one that took many unexpected twists and turns and saw the League members themselves flirt with godhood. Fabok's art alone cries out for an oversized hardcover, and DC is finally delivering on that need.

This hardcover collects Justice League #40-50, as well as the various Darkseid War specials. Together, these comics are an essential read for anyone who wants to see how Johns paved the way for DC Rebirth. Or if you just want a good "Justice League vs. New Gods" story ahead of the upcoming movie, this is a good choice, too.
