Gran Turismo Sport Demo Out Next Week

Available October 9.

A Gran Turismo Sport demo will be available from October 9-12, Sony announced today.

As detailed on the PlayStation Blog, any vehicles unlocked during the demo, as well as up to $1 million in in-game credit, will transfer to the full game when it's released on October 17.

Three different racing modes — Sport, Campaign, and Arcade — will be playable in the demo. Sport is all about competing for the fastest lap time, while Campaign features various challenges and missions. Arcade, meanwhile, is GT Sport's "jump in and drive" mode, featuring a "wide range of vehicle classes on three pre-selected circuit configurations" and offline, two-player split-screen.

The demo, which PS Plus members can pre-load starting October 7, will also let players test out Scapes, the racer's photo mode, as well as the Livery Editor, its car customization feature.
