Destiny 2: Faction Rally Winner Declared

The new patch is out now.

The Dead Orbit faction has won Destiny 2's most recent Faction Rally.

As detailed by Bungie on Twitter, Dead Orbit has beaten both the Future War Cult and New Monarchy factions. As a result, its members have unlocked a special powerful weapon — the Dead Orbit Scout Rifle — at a discount price of 1,000 Glimmer.

However, players in the losing Future War Cult and New Monarchy factions can still purchase their powerful weapons, The Future War Cult Pulse Rifle and the New Monarchy Sidearm, but only for the higher cost of 50,000 Glimmer.

A new patch for Destiny 2 is also out now and, according to Bungie's recent blog post, it fixes a slew of bugs and map glitches, such as an issue where raid milestones would not show for some players after the weekly reset.

The patch also adds invisible physics and kill volumes in the Crucible mode to keep players inside the intended playable area on the Eternity, Altar of Flame, Emperor's Respite, Legion's Gulch, Javelin-4, and The Dead Cliffs maps.
