The LEGO Ninjago Movie Video Game Announced and Dated

Improbable name, inevitable game.

The LEGO Ninjago Movie Video Game will be released on Nintendo Switch, PS4, Xbox One and PC on September 22.

Based on the upcoming movie (which itself is based on LEGO's ninja-themed set), the game will see players take on the roles of Lloyd, Nya, Jay, Kai, Cole, Zane and Master Wu.

Set across 8 areas drawn from the movie, the game looks familiar to anyone who's played a LEGO title before, but promises "extended movements" (which seem to be ninja-y traversal), as well as a Battle Mode that allows up to four-player local multiplayer across four different modes.

The game will be released on the same day as the movie it's tied to - to celebrate, we recently saw a gigantic mini-fig made of over 64,000 bricks.
