Amazon has officially announced Amazon Prime Day 2017! This year the third annual Prime Day will be Tuesday 11th July, with hundreds of thousands of deals exclusively for Prime members around the world. New this year, members can enjoy 30 hours of deal shopping starting at 6pm on Monday, 10th July – and new deals as often as every five minutes.

What is Prime Day?

It is usually one day of the year when Amazon runs "hundreds of thousands of deals" exclusively for Prime members. However, you need to be an Amazon Prime member to be able to view the deals and participate in Amazon Prime Day. If you somehow haven't already got an Amazon Prime account, there is no need to panic. You can sign up to Amazon Prime here for a free 30-day trial.

If you feel like you are a regular Amazon customer then be sure to take advantage of this. Amazon is running an exclusive discount in the UK - a year of Prime now costs £59 rather than £79 and this offer will run only until July 3.

To participate in Prime Day, Amazon Prime is needed. Customers in the UK new to Prime will have to sign up here for a year of Prime for £59 (instead of £79) from now through 3rd July, a £20 saving on the first year’s annual membership fee.
