Sony Pulls Game With 'World's Fastest Platinum Trophy'

Taken down 24 hours after launch.

Sony has decided to take down a game that was claiming to contain the fastest Platinum trophy ever made.

Eurogamer reports Sony quickly pulled the indie game, titled ★★★★★ 1000 Top Rated, from PSN and asked the developer to change the game's name and remove any mention of trophies.

The Platinum trophy reportedly could have been earned in 20 minutes, as it only consisted of easy interactive tile puzzles made out of 4K wallpapers. Additionally, the game was priced at just $0.98.

Apparently, ★★★★★ 1000 Top Rated was created to advertise the developer's Facebook page, which sells a bunch of PS4 themes.

A PSN game with a similarly easy Platinum trophy is My Name is Mayo, which can be earned by pressing X 10,000 times.

In other Sony related news, the company is now taking public pitches for its next PlayStation TV shows.
