Fox Sets Release Dates for Six More Marvel-Based Movies

Deadpool 3, X-Force on the horizon?

Six untitled Marvel-based movies from 20th Century Fox now have release dates.

According to box office authority Exhibitor Relations, the release schedule is as follows: June 7, 2019, November 22, 2019, March 13, 2020, June 26, 2020, October 2, 2020 and March 5, 2021.

It's safe to assume one of the upcoming movies will be Deadpool 3, as reports surfaced last year that Fox is so confident in the Ryan Reynolds-led film franchise that it's already planning a third movie. It's quite possible X-Force is also part of this lineup. The story of Deadpool 3 will allegedly incorporate the X-Force and Reynold has made it clear that he's made getting an X-Force film off the ground a priority.

Another possibile film in the lineup is Gambit, a production that has suffered multiple delays. While director Doug Liman left the project last year, it will reportedly re-enter active development with a new filmmaker. If recent rumblings are any indication, it's also possible Fox is planning another try at Fantastic Four.

Fox has big plans for the X-Men film franchise next year. The New Mutants will be released on April 13, 2018, which will be followed by Deadpool 2 on June 1 and Dark Phoenix on November 2.
