Oliva Munn is in negotiations to star in The Predator, the upcoming reboot of the 1987 alien action horror film.
Munn, who is coming off of her role as Psylocke in X-Men: Apocalypse, will play a scientist and star alongside Boyd Holbrook (Narcos), who will play a Special Forces commando according to The Hollywood Reporter.
Although little is known about the plot, THR says the alien hunter will be brought to a suburban setting.
The Predator is being directed by Shane Black and co-written by Black and Fred Dekker. The film is set to begin filming in February, 2017.
Earlier this year, Black revealed that Fox wanted The Predator to "reinvent" the franchise and was willing to spend "a bunch of money" to make it happen. Back in June, Black told IGN that he hopes to "re-infuse" the film "with a sense of mystery."
