The Game of the Year nominees are: Doom, Inside, Overwatch, Titanfall 2, and Uncharted 4: A Thief's End.
Uncharted 4 received the most nominations of any game this year, with eight overall. Firewatch, Inside, and Overwatch all came in second with five nominations each.

Extended previews already announced for the show include The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, Telltale Games' The Walking Dead Season 3 — A New Frontier, Prey, and Mass Effect: Andromeda.
Run the Jewels will also perform at the show, while Doom composer Mick Gordon will lead the first live performance of music from the game's soundtrack.
Hideo Kojima, who is currently working on Death Stranding, will receive the Industry Icon Award at this year's show.
The Game Awards also plans to take a more in-depth look at the games it highlights throughout the awards show, with more Let's Play-style preview showcases rather than merely pre-made trailers.
