Krypton: Superman Prequel Series Finds Its Lyta Zod

Syfy's upcoming Superman prequel series Krypton has found its leading lady in Georgina Campbell.

According to Deadline, the After Hours and Murdered by My Boyfriend actress will star as Lyta Zod in David S. Goyer's DC-inspired show.

As Lyta Zod, Campbell will play a cadet of the Krypton military who's also the daughter of General Alura Zod. Her character will have a "forbidden romance" with the Man of Steel's grandfather, Seg-El, who has yet to be cast.

Krypton takes place two generations prior to the destruction of Superman's iconic home planet and will center around Seg-El as he strives to restore honor to the House of El after his family is ostracized.
