WWE Hell in a Cell 2017 Live Blog and Results

Shane McMahon vs. Kevin Owens, New Day vs. Usos, Jinder Mahal vs. Shinsuke Nakamura, and more.

Join me here for all of tonight's WWE Hell in a Cell action! I'll be posting the match results and my reactions below as they roll in and I'll be live-tweeting over at @TheMattFowler if you want to check me out there too.

Shane McMahon is out to avenge the family name/fall off something dangerously high as he battles Kevin Owens inside a cell. Oh, and also outside a cell since the match, inexplicably, was transformed into a Falls Count Anywhere affair. I know. It's weird. We'll have to see.

Also in a cell - New Day vs. the Usos! This one could easily be the match of the night as these two teams have amazing chemistry and have already given us a couple of classics.

Plus, Natalya defends her SmackDown Woman's title against Charlotte Flair, Baron Corbin will try to take the U.S. title from AJ Styles, and WWE Champ Jinder Mahal will attempt to defeat Shinsuke Nakamura again to retain his belt.

Here we go!

Chad Gable & Shelton Benjamin vs. The Hype Bros (Kickoff Match)

Another loss for the Hype Bros - but no meltdown yet! They've been teasing a break up for weeks but it seems we'll have to look to SmackDown to see Ryder turn on Mojo. That being said, this was a very good showing for the Bros. A lot better than they've been getting on regular TV. The benefits of being on a SmackDown PPV, kickoff match or not, is that you can go longer than normal because the roster's pretty thin and there's close to three hours to fill.

So Hype Bros continue to fall down the ladder while Benjamin and Gable got a big win, with Benjamin showing no signs of ring rust whatsoever. Shelton and Chad make a great pair and the crowd was here, early, for this one.

Winners: Shelton Benjamin and Chad Gable
