Spider-Man: Homecoming is coming home October 17, and just like every great modern movie, there's a whole host of options when it comes to owning it on video. But which version is right for you?
Ultimately only you can answer that question, but we've presented each of the options for you to look over and digest before making your decision.
The Blu-ray combo pack is your surest bet for high-definition, web-slinging action. It has a DVD and digital version as well, so you need not be constrained to one format. There are tons of extras, including deleted scenes, a gag reel, and seven featurettes exploring the movie and world of Spider-Man.
Seeing Spider-Man: Homecoming in 3D is the next best thing to being there. Not only do you get the movie in thrilling three-dimensions, you get all the extras included with the Blu-ray, a regular Blu-ray and digital copy.
When it comes to feeding your eyeballs a visual treat, 4K Blu-ray is the way to go. Modern movies look absolutely amazing in HDR and 4K resolution, and it doesn't skimp on extras to make room for all those extra pixels. Plus you get the regular high-def Blu-ray and a digital copy too.
When it comes to special editions, Spider-Man: Homecoming doesn't disappoint. There are several excellent retail-exclusive packages to choose from, each with something special to try to entice you to buy.
Amazon Exclusive 4K Combo Pack Mask Case
This is a sweet deal. Not only do you get the 4K HDR Blu-ray combo pack with a Blu-ray and digital copy of the movie, you also get a sweet Spider-Man mask case to store it in. Basically it looks like you're bad at keeping your identity secret, but crack that baby open and there's entertainment inside!
Target Exclusive Blu-ray Combo Pack
Depending on your preferences for extras, this may be the coolest of the retailer exclusives. It includes the Blu-ray, DVD and a digital copy, but there's also a bonus disc filled with extras AND an exclusive Spider-Man comic book.
Walmart Exclusive Blu-ray Combo Pack Edition
If you're into collectibles, this is the special edition for you. Not only does it include the Blu-ray combo pack with a DVD and digital copy, as well as all the special features, you get this cool packaging and a pair of Spider-Man Mash'em collectible figures.
You know the routine: if you want the collector's steelbook, you need to get to Best Buy. The steelbook edition includes all the other great extras, and has a 4K cut of the movie that supports HDR, too. All cozy and warm in a cool package.
