Netflix Reportedly Postpones Punisher Premiere

Now expected later this fall.

In the wake of the recent tragic events in Las Vegas, Netflix has reportedly postponed its premiere of The Punisher.

This takes place after a joint statement from Netflix and Marvel released yesterday, stating that The Punisher would no longer be having a panel during New York Comic Con.

The surprise premiere has been postponed, according to Newsday, though it never garnered an official release date despite speculation it would premiere in November.

Instead, Netflix and Marvel obscured the release date on posters and advertising in plans to utilise a surprise strategy for their fans similar to that of an album drop.

Now, The Punisher is expected to premiere later this fall in the USA and Europe and spring in Australia and New Zealand.

IGN reached out to Netflix but they had "no comment."
