How to Make Destiny 2 Even Better

Form deeper Public Events to expanding the Vault, here are some changes we'd love to see Bungie make to Destiny 2.

Destiny 2 launched in much better shape than the original game. It tells a much better story filled with interesting characters, features a really smart leveling curve, and adds a ton of quality of life improvements. Plus, a pretty dope Raid hit just a week after the game launched.

Still, there are ways that Bungie can make Destiny 2 even better. Here are some of our suggestions.

Depth to Lost Sectors and Public Events

As of right now, Lost Sectors are little more than bland caves filled with a slew of random enemies and one single high-level boss. It’d be great if Bungie expanded these a bit and made them feel more like small, self-contained dungeons. Maybe some puzzles, a bit of story and lore, and differing atmospheres to incentivize exploring their depths.

Likewise, by the time you’ve hit level 20, you’ve probably grown used to doing the same Public Events a couple hundred times. It’d be great if Bungie tossed in a bunch of modifiers that added a layer of mystery and the unexpected to them.

More Incentives For Strikes

By the time you’re Raid-ready, there’s little-to-no reason to complete standard Strikes. So it would be great if Bungie offered some incentives to go through them over and over again -- maybe Strike-exclusive Sparrows or Ships that you can only earn through completing them?

North on the Mini-Map

Seriously. Bungie. Add north to the mini-map. I’m not even sure what else to tell you. Please. We’ll pay you.

Expand the Farm

The Farm is a visually interesting new social hub that is severely underutilized in Destiny 2, especially once you beat the campaign. We’d love to see Bungie add some new NPCs to this area, including quest-givers. It’d also be great if the Farm became a clan-centric space that highlighted achievements like first team to beat the Raid

Fix the Vault

Okay, for real, please fix the Vault. We can acquire way more items than there are spaces in the Vault, especially when we're rolling multiple characters. That seems to negate the point of the Vault. Furthermore, there needs to be a better way to sort items -- why can't we view things by Light Level?

Those are some of the fixes and additions we'd love to see Bungie implement in Destiny 2. What changes would you like to see?
