Han Solo Movie Official Title Revealed

Solo: A Star Wars Story is the official title of Disney and Lucasfilm's upcoming Han Solo movie.

Announced on StarWars.com, director Ron Howard revealed in a video message on Twitter that production on the film has wrapped, and said he hopes fans have enjoyed the set pictures he's been sharing over the past few months. He then asked if he could reveal the title of the film, and a Wookie promptly handed him a card bearing the title: "Solo: A Star Wars Story."

In addition to sneak peeks at Donald Glover as Lando and Joonas Suotamo as Chewbacca, Howard also previously released a teaser image of what appears to be a Kessel spice mine.

Solo: A Star Wars Story opens in theaters on May 25, 2018. Howard stepped in to direct the movie after Phil Lord and Christopher Miller were dropped from the project.
