Google's Bluetooth Earbuds Can Do Live Translation

Can you understand me now?

Google has announced its own wireless Bluetooth earbuds, called Pixel Buds.

As reported by The Verge, Pixel Buds will utilize Google Assistant to make calls, play music, and if you also have a Pixel phone, translate 40 languages during conversation.

The new earbuds will feature gesture controls, and holding the right earbud in and speaking a command phrase will allow the phone to translate during conversation, so long as you own a Google Pixel phone. The earbuds will translate incoming language and your response will be translated and piped out through the phone's speaker.

The earbuds will come in black, white, and blue—to match the Google Pixel 2 phones—and will be available in November for $159 USD in the US. Pixel Buds will also be released in Canada, U.K., Germany, Australia, and Singapore in November.

Pixel Buds are available for pre-order now and are currently listed to ship in 6-7 weeks.

The earbuds will last five hours on a single charge, and the small included charging case should give Pixel Buds up to 24 hours of total listening time.
