Destiny 1's PlayStation-Exclusive Content Now on Xbox

More maps. More guns. More armor.

All PlayStation platform exclusives in the original Destiny have now been made available on Xbox One and Xbox 360.

As noted by Polygon and Reddit users, multiplayer maps, Strikes, quests, weapons, and armor that were promised to Sony players only for at least a year, through a marketing deal with Activision, are now available to Xbox 360 and Xbox One players..

Guardians at home on Xbox who own "The Taken King" expansion now have the following content available to them:

  • Exotic scout rifle "Jade Rabbit"
  • Exotic sniper rifle "Zen Meteor"
  • Sublime engrams, which include class-specific armor sets
  • Quest "Fight Fire With Fire"
  • Venus-based Strike "Echo Chamber" (video below)
  • Earth-based Crucible map "Sector 618"

Players who own the "Rise Of Iron" expansion will also have access to:

  • Dusty Iron Engrams, which include class-specific armor sets
  • Quest "Show Of Strength"
  • Mercury-based Crucible map "Icarus"
  • The Timeless Tereshkova ship

In addition, Bungie has also shifted some items to Eververse that were previously random drops from the "Treasure of Ages" mystery boxes. Now players can purchase any of these items from Tess Everis by spending Silver Dust.

The Iron Camelot armor for Warlocks, Titans, and Hunters, as well as the EV-42 Sparrow and "With Finesse and Speed" quest from the Sparrow Racing League in 2015 will also be available to Xbox players.

The game's April update from 2016 also included the Barkhan Dune I Warlock armor, the Jovian Guard Titan armor, the Long Tomorrow 9G Hunter armor, the Zen Meteor sniper, the Velumbra sparrow, and the "Essence of Darkness" quest, all of which Xbox players can now access.

The following shaders are now available for purchase:

  • Barrage
  • Brushfire
  • The Blast of War

The following ornaments are also available:

  • "Tigershark" for Dragon's Breath
  • "Basilisk's Glory" for Suros Regime
  • "Settled Score" for Touch of Malice
  • "Devourer of Moons" for Necrochasm
  • "Chronoshot" for Vex Mythoclast
  • "Undiscovered Country" for No Land Beyond
  • "Perfected Predator" for Lord of Wolves

Xbox players will still have to wait a while to get access to the exclusives from Destiny 2, as those will not be available until at least Fall 2018. IGN's Destiny 2 review gave it an 8.5, calling it "a blast out of the gate thanks to its excellent co-op shooter gameplay and strong storytelling in the campaign."

There are two expansions currently planned for Destiny 2, the first being called "The Curse Of Osiris," although no release date has been announced for either.
