The animated series will premiere on The CW's online platform The CW Seed in early 2018. Matt Ryan, who starred as the title character on the recent NBC series, will return to voice John Constantine, with Greg Berlanti producing.
Doug Murphy (Young Justice) is directing the entire series, written by J.M. DeMatteis (Justice League Dark). Butch Lukic is producing with David S. Goyer executive producing.
The live-action Constantine TV show ran for one season on NBC in the 2014-15 TV season. Ryan recently reprised his role as Constantine in Season 4 of Arrow, though The CW head Mark Pedowitz said there's no intention for him to return to the live action shows any time soon.
The CW is providing a sneak peek of the show at New York Comic-Con 2017 this Sunday.
