Nintendo recently announced that the Switch dominated the U.S. sales charts in September, following its previous sales success the month before. The major 4.0.0 update for Switch also was released this week, offering Switch users the ability to use wireless headphones. The 4.0.0 update also adds a few major features to the Switch not previously available. Users can now record 30-second video clips from a select number of games, while game save and account data can be transferred from one Switch to another.
In addition to Mario Odyssey, a number of major third-party releases are coming to Switch soon, as Rockstar is bringing L.A. Noire to Switch, and Bethesda is not only releasing Skyrim, but also Doom and Wolfenstein 2 on Switch.
