Is that "proto" Killer Croc?

Ahead of Gotham's return later this month, FOX has released a brand-new trailer for Season 3.

The preview video, dubbed "Nothing Else Matters," provides a sneak peek at Gotham's host of new villains, including Maggie Geha's all-grown-up Poison Ivy, as well as what appears to be the "proto" version of Killer Croc. It also looks as though Jessica Jones actor Kieran Mulcare will indeed appear as Solomon Grundy, reaffirming speculation from a set photo that surfaced last month.

The wait for Gotham's return isn't much longer, as the new season — officially titled Mad City — premieres Monday, September 19 on Fox.

Ben McKenzie's James Gordon will have plenty of trouble on his hands, as Season 3 will introduce several new villains, including Benedict Samuel's Mad Hatter and Jervis Tetch's younger sister, Alice.
