N64 Emulator Removed Days After Appearing on Xbox One

You're going to have to play GoldenEye the old way.

A Nintendo 64 emulator which suddenly appeared for purchase on the Xbox One this past weekend has already disappeared.

As reported by Kotaku, the Win64e10 emulator showed up on Xbox One on Sunday, but Microsoft has already removed the app.

Win64e10 was available for purchase for $10 and was advertised with screenshots of games like Super Mario 64. As of this writing, the app's Microsoft Store listing still claims it's compatible with Xbox One, but it appears you'll only be able to actually use it on PC, tablets, and Windows Phone at this point. Last month, Microsoft updated the Xbox One to allow users to run compatible Windows 10 apps on the console.

This isn't the first time Microsoft has removed an emulator since the update went live. Earlier this month, a multi-console emulator which supported the ability to run ROMs of NES, Super Nintendo, and Sega Genesis games was also removed from the Xbox One store.
