The Final Fantasy XV soundtrack will be played live on September 7 at Abbey Road Studios and live streamed around the world.
The one-off concert will be an hour long and will feature the London Philharmonic Orchestra, as well as an appearance from composer Yoko Shimomura.
“With so many iconic recordings taking place here over the years, performing the music for Final Fantasy XV in the very same recording studio is a huge honor for me and for everyone involved,” Shimomura said in a statement accompanying the release. "I hope that music and video game fans around the world can tune-in and join me for this incredible experience."
Abbey Road is an iconic part of the music industry, and is most associated with The Beatles, who named one of their albums after it.
The concert will feature live music from the soundtrack, including music from the game which hasn't yet been heard. Shimomura will offer insight into the soundtrack's recording, including her own commentary of the songs.
The concern will broadcast from Studio One live via the Final Fantasy XV YouTube channel and the Square Enix Twitch channel from 11 a.m. PT on Wednesday, September 7. It will then be uploaded to YouTube for those not able to tune in live.
Final Fantasy XV recently recently received a short delay and is now due for release on Xbox One and PlayStation 4 on November 29.
