The Show that Ended in 2016 You'll Miss the Most

Person of Interest's Team Machine will be missed... the most!

Last week, we asked you to take a poll and let us know which TV show that ended in 2016 you were most distraught over - which series, whether canceled prematurely or given a proper ending/sendoff, you were the saddest about losing.

The poll is closed and the results are in and it looks like five seasons of CBS' Person of Interest just weren't enough for many fans, even considering how well received the final 13 episodes were as an ending. Team Machine took their licks but delivered their hits in a final showdown with Samaritan, but it's clear that viewers want more. Maybe a spinoff at some point?

The next shows on the poll were Marvel's Agent Carter, which left us on a cliffhanger (sigh...) and Showtime's Penny Dreadful, which wrapped up Vanessa Ives' story while also subtly setting up a new monster-hunting team that could have been the focus of a new series (or more Penny, if it had continued).

Check out how it all broke down...

unnamed-1

After the top three came Gravity Falls, Castle, and Marco Polo - the latter of which is a series that wins the unfortunate distinction of being Netflix's first canceled show, with no proper ending (unless you count the acquisition Lilyhammer, which we're not!).
