AirTV 4K-Compatible Streaming Device Announced

The AirTV Adapter and antenna installation are also available.

The AirTV Player, an Android-based streaming device that can bundle together various streaming services and local over-the-air TV channels, has been announced and is now available for purchase.

AirTV revealed the 4K-compatible device, which initially comes loaded with Netflix, Sling TV, and YouTube apps, as part of the Consumer Electronics Show 2017. The player can also access content via the Google Play Store and, with the purchase of the additional AirTV Adapter, integrate over-the-air channels — or TV channels accessed via antenna — to also be accessed via the device as well. A TV antenna is required to utilize the Adapter's features, however.

The AirTV Player bundled with the Adapter costs $129.99, while the standalone player costs $99.99, and the Adapter by itself runs $39.99. AirTV also offers pro installation, which includes either indoor or outdoor antenna installation. The AirTV Player comes bundled with a $50 Sling TV credit.
