First Look at The Predator Cast; R-Rating Confirmed

Filming begins today.

The Predator begins filming today, and director Shane Black has taken to social media to provide an early glimpse at the film's cast.

"Partial cast... beautiful human beings, good people. Also, killers. Cameras roll today," he said in a post on Twitter, which was accompanied by the following photo:

In a subsequent post, the director confirmed that The Predator will be rated R in a roundabout way, saying, "And, just to be clear... PG-13 is for pussies. Spines bleed... a lot." Last June, Black told us he plans to bring mystery back to the franchise with his new film.

The Predator stars Boyd Holbrook, Keegan-Michael Key, Trevante Rhodes, Olivia Munn, Sterling K. Brown, and the recently-cast Thomas Jane. For more on the film ahead of its February 9, 2018 release, check out the first poster for The Predator.
