Switch Launch Game The Binding of Isaac Delayed

However, the game will still come out in March.

A Nintendo Switch launch game has been delayed.

The Binding of Isaac: Afterbirth+ will no longer release on March 3. Developer Nicalis announced the delay via Tumblr, explaining the title has indeed been pushed back but has not given a specific reason as to why. However, Afterbirth+ is still slated to come out sometime in March.

Along with the delay, Nicalis also revealed limited edition sticker sheets, which will come with the much loved Isaac face sticker, reversible alternate cover, and a 20-page instruction booklet will be included with every launch copy of the game. The booklet features some never-before-seen art design.

Afterbirth+ is an amalgamation of several versions of The Binding of Isaac, and includes over 6,000 possible rooms and 500 different items and weapons scattered throughout.

With Afterbirth+ delayed, Nintendo Switch's launch day-line-up is now nine games. Check out the full list of launch games here, some of the Switch's digital game sizes, and why Square Enix doesn't plan on bringing Final Fantasy XV over to Nintendo's latest game system.
