A second trademark for Capcom's long-time-coming action role-playing game Deep Down has been filed.
First spotted by Gematsu, the trademark was filed on February 9 of this year. As noted by NeoGAF user FelipeMGM, this is now the second active trademark for the game, as the one Capcom filed in 2013 is still valid.
Deep Down was revealed at PlayStation Meeting in February of 2013, the event during which Sony pulled back the curtain on PlayStation 4. The game was announced as a PS4 exclusive developed using Capcom's new Panta Rhei game engine.
Details have been few and far between since its original debut, with producer Yoshinori Ono providing a status update back in 2015, confirming the game is still in development, but will likely look quite a bit different than prior footage. "We're thinking about showing something that looks completely different from what previously shown, although it might be a while from now," he said. Perhaps E3 is the time?
