First Look at Rey, Finn and Poe in Star Wars: The Last Jedi

Force Friday II, coming September 1.

Concept art for the packaging on an upcoming line of Star Wars: The Last Jedi toys has given us our first glimpse of the film's three heroes.

Revealed on StarWars.com ahead of Force Friday II - the fan event where The Last Jedi's merchandise launches - the image shows familiar faces, but slightly unfamiliar style choices.

Daisy Ridley's Rey is the most obvious change, now wearing her hair half-down, rather than in her trademark series of buns. It also looks as though she may now be wearing black wrappings under her original clothing.

Finn - while still wearing Poe's Jacket (awww) - is wearing an open-necked shirt more similar to Han Solo's chosen attire. Considering he spent The Force Awakens in a shirt designed to be worn under Stormtrooper armor, it's a subtle way of showing his rejection of the First Order.

Poe's the least changed of the three - understandable, given that's he's in uniform - although his clothes might be a little dirtier.

Force Friday II will take place on September 1, showing off Last Jedi tie-in toys, books, clothing and more. Before The Force Awakens, 2015's Force Friday saw 18 hours of unveilings, including our first look at many aspects of the new trilogy.

It's expected that this year's event will teach us a lot more about The Last Jedi than we know now. Star Wars: The Last Jedi will arrive on December 15 - complete with a new actor inside R2-D2.
