God of War: Kratos' Son's Name Revealed

Meet Atreus.

The name of Kratos' son in Sony's upcoming God of War game for PlayStation 4 is Atreus.

God of War director Cory Barlog confirmed the character's name in a post on Twitter, crediting a fan who discovered the name in the comments section of the MP3 file for the God of War E3 2016 Overture.

Following Sony's announcement at E3 2016 that Sony Santa Monica is developing a new God of War, Barlog confirmed that the upcoming PS4 exclusive will be a single-player only experience and won't serve as Kratos' final game.
