Logan Reportedly Has a Post-Credits Scene

Three additional minutes added for the theatrical release.

Logan seemingly has a post-credits scene, as 20th Century Fox has added three additional minutes to the film's runtime for its theatrical release.

While critics' screenings ended without an extra tag, the word is that the final version will include a little extra.

"Let the secret post-credits scene speculation begin: Fox just updated Logan runtime to three minutes longer than version screened this week," Mike Sampson, the senior marketing and promotions manager at Alamo Drafthouse Cinema, said in a post on Twitter.

Similarly, Collider's Steve Weintraub has heard that a post-credits scene will be included in the theatrical release. "Forget about the rumors…I can confirm it’s true. When Logan is released on March 3 it'll have a post-credits scene," he said. Weintraub noted that he's not sure if it's at the very end or midway through the credits,  but "can 100 percent tell you something will be there."

Whatever it turns out to be, we can be relatively sure that it won't feature Fox's breakout superhero star of last year, Deadpool. After rumors saying Wade Wilson would appear in a Logan post-credits scene, Ryan Reynolds denied the claim, while Logan director James Mangold decried the speculation as "fake news".

While you patiently wait for the film's release, read IGN's Logan review to find out why "it's an amazing swan song for the Wolverine character, and for Jackman, and perhaps the best X-Men movie yet."
