A Japanese advert for Switch has provided the first look at the much-discussed version of FIFA 18 for Nintendo's new console
EA recently confirmed that FIFA on Switch will be a full numbered entry in the series, rather than a spin-off, and will be custom-built for the console - as opposed to a "last-gen" version of the game.
A new advert (below) shows around 15 seconds of gameplay, in various Switch configurations:
While it's hard to draw too much from a commercial, the character models and overall presentation look similar to the Xbox One and PS4 versions of FIFA 17 (and presumably the follow-up too), although lighting and close-up detail are perhaps a little flatter.
The advert also appears to confirm that local wireless play will be possible between Switch consoles.
FIFA 18 for Switch has no scheduled release date but will likely arrive alongside other consoles' versions in the series traditionl September release window.
