SuperMansion: Season 2 Trailer

Yvette Nicole Brown's new SuperMansion character swears like a sailor.

The trailer for Season 2 of the animated superhero comedy SuperMansion is here, and a new character has entered the scene.

Check out the trailer below, which includes the debut of Yvette Nicole Brown (Community) as the voice of Portia.

The things that Brown says as talk show host and former superhero Portia in Season 2 of SuperMansion might shock people who have followed her career and on screen characters, but they won't necessarily shock anyone who knows her in real life, said the actress. Brown told reporters on a Television Critics Association 2017 winter press tour panel for the newest season of Crackle's series that her squeaky-clean on-screen persona is absolutely intentional.

"I made a decision early on in my career to be on a kids' show, Drake & Josh, and so I've tried to make decisions going forward where a kid who follows that show sees me on something else [and] they won't be traumatized for the rest of their life," she said. "So on camera I have not done a lot of things that Portia will say and do on SuperMansion, [but] she's got a potty mouth and she curses quite a bit, and allegedly in real life I might as well. So it's not new to me but it is new to me as an actress on screen."

Portia seems to have a secret history with Bryan Cranston's Titanium Rex and events occur that call her back to her superhero life as "Zenith." "She has to decide whether she's going to rejoin the League," Brown said. "There's another side to her. There's an even more ferocious, fierce and otherworldly side to her."

Cranston, who is an executive producer on SuperMansion, said he got involved with the series initially because he really, really loves what he does and looks for all types of projects that interest him. "The simple answer is I don't play golf. I work and then I go home," he said. But nothing he does is is out of obligation.

"It's not laborious to me. As you know I love storytelling so get me involved in any aspect of storytelling and if it's compelling I'd love to be a part of it."

And he's not an EP in name only, either. "I enjoy supporting other writers and their visions, so I read everything and give notes and try to offer suggestions but the bottom line is it's really up to [executive producers Matthew Senreich and Zeb Wells] - as it should be in the collaborative framework of it."

SuperMansion: Season 2 debuts Feb. 16 on Crackle.
