Overwatch Enters World of Warcraft with Ogrewatch Event

Cheers love, the parody's here.

The Brawler's Guild is returning to World of Warcraft in patch 7.1.5, and a parody mode called Ogrewatch will be featured as part of it.

According to PCGamesN, the mode will come with some eerily familiar characters from a varied roster enter the arena to try and kill you.

As detailed in Wowhead's breakdown of the Brawler's Guild fights, the Rank 6 bosses will include the likes of Hudson, a gorilla with a barrier projector, jump pack, and tesla cannon, and Stuffshrew, a character with a maniacal laugh and bombs.Meanwhile, Dupree is a cowboy who takes a long time to aim but does between 2,925,000 and 3,075,000 damage when he finally fires.

Datamining suggests we'll also be seeing Blinker, who's similar to Tracer, Boargut (Roadhog), Render (Reaper), and Steingardt (Mercy... no wait, Reinhardt).

World of Warcraft has had a long history of including easter eggs from other games and pop culture since the game launched over a decade ago. Overwatch has been a smash hit since its launch, and it was one of IGN's best-reviewed games of last year.
