Disney had planned to produce a line of Star Wars Rogue One figures before work stopped on its toy-to-life series, Disney Infinity, last year.
According to Kotaku, a source close to the development team confirmed there had been "multiple figures" planned for Disney Infinity 3.0, including "most of the Rebel crew, from Jyn to K2".

While the playset - which was to be developed by Ninja Theory - was only "very early into development", apparently the figures had been "practically finished and were ready for production", such as this Baze Malbus figure as showcased on designer B Allen's online portfolio.
This confirms previous reports that Rogue One figures, as well as 12-inch versions of news and existing figures, were in production.
Disney Infinity was the most popular toys-to-life brand coming into 2016, beating out Skylanders and Lego Dimensions thanks to the popularity of Star Wars. However, in May 2016 Disney announced plans to cancel the series, citing a large financial loss from the game's production.
Disney Infinity's servers will be discontinued on March 3, 2017.
