Pokemon the Movie: I Choose You! Movie Headed West

Screening two days only, in select international markets.

Following its debut in Japan earlier this year, Pokemon the Movie: I Choose You! will make its way to select theaters in international markets this November.

In partnership with Fathom Events, The Pokemon Company International will show the 20th Pokemon movie, which recounts Ash's earliest adventures from the anime, for two days, on Sunday, November 5, and Monday, November 6.

Further details, including showtimes, participating theaters, and special offers, will be announced in the near future.

While the animated feature revisits Ash's beginnings as a Pokemon trainer, I Choose You! does not adhere strictly to the anime TV series. In fact, it strays from the original television show by replacing Brock and Misty with two new companions for Ash: Makoto and Souji.

Pokemon the Movie: I Choose You! isn't the only exciting content coming for Pokemon fans this November, as Pokemon Ultra Sun and Ultra Moon will be released for Nintendo 3DS on November 17.
